NOW they've finished high school, Lennox Head triplets Chris, Josh and Sophie Davis have discovered a new hobby - coming up withheadlines for this article.

"Triplets who fight each other with light sabres prepare for HSC," Sophie suggests.

The siblings burst out laughing, and the jokes continue throughout the interview and photo shoot.

It's clear they're good friends, and Sophie admits the light sabre fights are the only ones they have these days.

For 18 years the triplets have gone through everything in their lives together.

This week they graduated from Year 12 at their respective schools - Chris and Josh from Xavier Catholic College at Skennars Head and Sophie from Trinity Catholic College at Lismore.

Now they're celebrating the end of an era and contemplating their futures. But it seems they might not get separated just yet.

All three are planning to audition for the National Institute of Dramatic Art and the Victorian College of the Arts.

"It's good to be finished, but it's a weird type of freedom because we still have the HSC to go," Josh said.

"It's a false sense of security."

A slight competitive streak emerges as the siblings reveal they are all keen to attend NIDA.

"I don't reckon there is much chance of all of us getting in," Sophie said.

"It'll be awkward if two of us get in and one doesn't.

"I've still got a lot of study to do first. I lock myself in my room for six hours at a time."

But Josh admits his study habits are slightly different.

"I'm very lax. I get bored easily," he said.

Mum Amanda said she couldn't believe her three babies were getting ready to finish their school lives and head out into the world.

"It's going to be quiet at home without them," she said.
