Re-surface works clog highway

MOTORISTS driving south of Grafton on the Pacific Highway can expect delays from next week as the Roads and Traffic Authority re-surfaces nearly a kilometre of road.

The work is to be done near the Parker Road intersection, about 23km south of Grafton and is expected to run until mid-August, weather permitting.

Delays are expected between 7am and 5pm weekdays until the work is complete.

The RTA advised motorists to be “roadwork aware” and to slow down and take care. Roadwork speed limits are enforceable.
