Ray White leading the way using innovative technology
RAY WHITE Gladstone seems to be leading the way in selling by innovative technology.
Recently, the real estate agency has started using video technology to showcase properties on the market.
The video is then uploaded on You Tube and the Ray White Gladstone website to give potential buyers a prior idea of what the home looks like inside and outside before booking in for a private inspection.
Ray White principal Andrew Allen is involved firsthand in making the video's come to life and said they have had a lot of positive feedback from buyers.
"It's a different way to promote the property," he said.
"It gives people, who may not be able to view the home in person, a better idea of what it's like internally."
Out of the two voice-over videos made to date for properties in Gladstone, Mr Allen said both are now under contract.
"People enjoy being able to view a 30 to 40 second clip of the video rather than work through the photos.
"People are so time poor and love being able to access content on mobile devices and quickly see a video of the property."
"A lot of people down south do it so we might as well do it in Gladstone."
In their current videos online, Ray White sales agent Julie Wood said she was responsible for the introduction and voice-over for the properties.
"It's like a 3D," she said.
"People moving through the property.
"It's different to photos and actually looks like a camera moving through the room.
"It makes it more real in that you're actually in the property yourself."
