Rappville school to celebrate centenary

RAPPVILLE Public School will celebrate its centenary on Saturday, October 4.

Principal Jeff Lassig said great interest has been shown by past students, teachers, parents and even people who 'knew someone' who went to the school or lived in Rappville.

A sign-on will be held on the day at 9am with the official ceremony starting at 11am.

There will be face painting and balloon art for the young ones, or young at heart, and the P&C and the Lions Club will have an assortment of food and drinks available at their stalls.

A fascinating and informative centenary book as well as souvenirs will be available on the day.

A dance and supper will be held at the Rappville Hall at the conclusion of the day.
