Rappville Picks up some tunes

THE next Rappville Pick is on Friday, May 20, at the Rappville Pub in Nandabah St.

The shows are hosted by the pub and Watling & Bates with the aim of providing a place where old-time and bluegrass pickers can play together socially and enjoy some country hospitality.

The sessnions are designed to be less of a performance and more of an acoustic circle, where the musicians focus on each other and the tunes.

Even though it’s not directed at an audience, people are welcome to listen in and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere.

The last Rappville Pick was extremely popular with visitors coming from as far as the Gold Coast, Grafton and Lismore.

Monthly picks have been booked until the end of 2016.
