Police on the hunt for Harvey Norman ram raid thieves

Police are searching for the thieves who performed a ram raid on Grafton's Harvey Norman store on Monday night.

TWO men rammed a silver hatchback through the front door of Harvey Norman on Prince St in Grafton about 11.15pm on Monday night.

They took two sets of Dr Dre Beats headphones and five Samsung Galaxy mobile phones.

Police have set up a crime scene and taken security footage of the ram raid.

Store owner, John Stewart said he thought it would be a tough task to catch the criminals because they were unrecognisable underneath balaclavas and hoodies.

The car used in the robbery is believed to be stolen.
