Rally against gaming laws

PAGE MP Janelle Saffin and Our Kids fundraising coordinator Rebekka Battista are expected to be among  those attending a rally at Ballina tomorrow to protest against planned changes to gaming machine laws.

Clubs have claimed the plans to introduce compulsory pre-commitment for people wanting to use gaming machines would cost North Coast clubs about $22 million to implement and put 235 jobs in jeapordy.

The rally will be held at the Ballina RSL Services Club from 2.30pm.
