Public help identify man found in Brunswick Heads

Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance identifying a man who was found in a critical condition in Brunswick Heads last week.

Emergency services were called to Fingal Street at Brunswick Head just before 11.30am on Friday (November 13), after a man was found unconscious in water.

He was taken to Tweed Heads Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

It's believed the man suffered a medical episode and police are not treating the incident as suspicious.

Following an appeal for assistance the man has been identified, and police made contact with relatives.

Police would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
