Presentations a roaring success

CASINO Lions Junior AFL presentation day was at the Casino RSM on a recent Saturday afternoon.

In the Under 14s, Athol Williams took out the Best and Fairest and Players' Player awards, while Zac Green, Adrian Handocha, Jacob Jolley and rookie Peter Laurie shared other major awards.

In the Division 2 grand final, winning Under-12s slamming Jake Patton was declared Best and Fairest and took out the President's Award, while Beau Donnelly, Brodie Murphy, Connor Hannigan, Troy MacDonald and rookie Harold Williams accepted major awards. The Under-10s celebrated their dominance of the competition. Joshua Speak claimed the best and fairest trophy. Other major award winners were Saxon Heath, Donald Saunders, Tom Wyatt, Hugh Donnelly while Itlas Irving snared the Presidents and rookie awards. The club's prestigious perpetual JJ St Clair Lionheart Award was won by Katelyn Stevenson for showing courage and determination.
