Police warn about scam Facebook page promising cruise prize

POLICE have issued a warning about a scam Facebook page that promises users the chance of winning prizes if they click on and share a link.

Police took to their Facebook page this morning to warn followers about the bogus page called Royal Caribbean Australia.

"A circulating scam from a Facebook Page named 'Royal Caribbean Australia', is claiming to give you a chance to win a cruise just by sharing the post and clicking a link," police posted.

"Do not click the link.

"The Facebook Page is fraudulent and has no connection with Royal Caribbean and the prizes do not exist.

"The Page is a typical survey scam designed to trick you into giving your personal information to dodgy survey sites."
