Police seek Yen thieves

POLICE are appealing to the public for information about a break and enter at a Ballina residence where an amount of Japanese currency was stolen.

Sometime between Friday afternoon on November 9 and Sunday afternoon on November 11 unknown offenders have broken into a ground floor window of a house in Catherine Cr at Ballina.

Once inside the offenders ransacked the house stealing a quantity of Japanese Yen as well as snowboards, a passport, a wallet and a novelty smoking pipe.
