Police seek wanted men

POLICE are seeking to locate two men involved in a police pursuit through Urunga overnight.

A white Subaru Liberty attempted to outrun Coffs Clarence Highway Patrol officers on the Pacific Highway through the town last night.

Police said officers deployed road spikes near Martells Rd at about 9.15pm.

The fleeing vehicle was brought to a stop and two men fled on foot, police said.

Officers searched nearby bushland and the Coffs Harbour-based Dog Unit was called to the scene.

Police inquiries are continuing today after an extensive search failed to locate the offenders.

Anyone with information should call Coffs Harbour Police via Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
