Police seek help in robbery case

TWEED-BYRON police have renewed calls for help from the public in relation to an armed robbery on a credit union at Murwillumbah last month.

The robbery was carried out by a man wielding a sawn-off shotgun, who stole a sum of cash before fleeing along the western bank of the Tweed River.

Police attended the scene but were unable to locate the offender.

If anyone has information about the robbery they are urged to contact Tweed detectives via crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
