Police search for alleged robber

BALLINA Detectives have released images of a man they wish to speak to in relation to a robbery in East Ballina on Thursday, June 17.

About 8pm a man entered a service station in East Ballina where he approached the attendant and requested they place money into bag, before running off.

The male is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, thin build, wearing a light coloured woollen beanie, with a black scarf wrapped around his head and face, black jumper with two gold coloured stripes down the sleeves, faded black jeans and black shoes.

Anyone who has any information regarding the robbery or who recognise the male in the images is urged to contact Ballina Police Station on 6681 8699 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
