Police grab bayonet wielding man in alleged terror plot

TWO men have been arrested in Sydney's southwest in an alleged terror plot. 

The men were arrested in Bankstown with the ABC reporting one of them was wielding a bayonet. 

The men were believed to be in Featherstone Rd Bankstown when they were arrested. 

A police spokeswoman told The Australian there was an ongoing investigation into the matter but declined to comment further.
