Police crack heroin supply chain in western Sydney

HEROIN, cash, guns and machetes made for a seedy discovery in a Sydney home where detectives cracked a major drug supply chain this week.

Following a three-month sting into the supply of heroin in the western suburbs, three men and two women were arrested and charged with multiple drug offences.

Capsicum spray, three stun guns and cannabis were also found during the police search.

It is estimated the heroin had a potential street value of $125,000.

All five will appear in court again in January.
