Phones, purses stolen from car at Ballina

IF you were at North Wall in Ballina last night and saw suspicious activity around a Toyota Prado, police would like to speak to you about the theft of three mobile phones and two purses.

"Between 8pm and 8.15pm last night a Toyota Prado was broken into while parked at the North Wall car park in East Ballina," Richmond LAC posted on its Facebook page.

"The driver's side window was smashed and three mobile phones and two purses were taken.

Police reminded people not to leave any valuables in parked cars.
