Peter Dutton's seat at risk amid AEC changes to his electorate
INFLUENTIAL Federal Minister Peter Dutton remains at risk of losing his seat in a proposed redistribution, while rising star Trevor Evans could also be vulnerable.
The same redistribution, put out by the Australian Electoral Commission, sees Labor gain ground in Lilley, currently held by former Treasurer Wayne Swan.
Dutton's seat of Dickson gains areas of Lilley which have had stronger LNP support in recent polling, but only slightly increases his 1.6 per cent margin to about 2 per cent and leaving him with a narrow lead.
Mr Evans loses Ashgrove - which had a 47 per cent LNP primary vote in 2016 compared to a 26 per cent Labor primary - to the neighbouring seat of Ryan, already held by the LNP's Jane Prentice.
