Person trapped in crash

A MAN was trapped in his car for more than an hour this morning after he crashed into a tree at Lindendale.

Paramedics attended the scene on the Bruxner Highway just after 5am.

A NSW Ambulance spokesman said the man was freed and then taken to Lismore Base Hospital.

The extent of his injuries is not known at this stage.

Emergency service workers have urged people to take care on the roads.
