Pedestrian killed on highway was from Ocean Shores

POLICE have completed the identification process of a man who died when he was hit by a Kombi on the Pacific Highway at Tyagarah on Tuesday night.

Tweed Byron Local Area Command Duty Officer Inspector Greg Jago said the 19 year-old pedestrian from Ocean Shores was killed in the incident which happened just before 9pm.

Insp Jago said the man's family have requested that his name not be released.
