Peanuts Movie screening in Lismore this weekend

NOBODY will be allergic to these Peanuts: Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the Peanuts gang are coming to a big screen in Lismore.

Northern Rivers families can enjoy a sneak peek at the latest film.

The beloved Peanuts gang make their big-screen debut, like they’ve never been seen before, in state-of-the-art 3D animation.

Charlie Brown, the world’s most recognisable underdog, embarks upon an epic and heroic quest, while his best pal, the beagle Snoopy, takes to the skies to pursue his arch-nemesis, the Red Baron.

From the imagination of Charles M. Schulz and the creators of the Ice Age films, the Peanuts Movie will prove that every underdog has his day.

Event details

An advance big-screen debut will be held on Sunday, December 6, at 11 am for $10, with proceeds being donated to children’s hospitals.

The film opens in cinemas across the country, including Lismore, Byron Bay and Ballina, on December 26.

Star Wars

A special charity screening of Star Wars - The Force Awakens, will also be held on Sunday, December 20 from 3pm at Birch Carroll and Coyle in Lismore.

Then event will be a fundraiser for the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter.

Don’t miss the pre-show nibbles, but with the catering coming express from Kashyyyk, the home planet of the Wookiee race, we suspect the nibbles may be a little ‘Chewie’.

Expect Ham Solos with C-3-pea-Os served by Darth Waiter, Vader’s not-so-successful cousin.

Event details

The film will be screening at 3.30pm.

Tickets at $20 are available by calling the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter on 6627 4444.
