Peaches ripe for festival

GOING to a peach festival may not have been on your bucket list, but it should be.

Southview Orchard on Hogarth Range between Casino and Mallanganee will hold its second festival of the lush, peachy fruit.

John and Frieda de Kleuver will allow you to pick your own peaches on Sunday, October 21, from 10am-2pm.

With more than a thousand peach trees and prices at $6 a kilo, the day is bound to be popular.

There will be hot snacks and drinks available.

  • Peach Festival at Southview Orchard on Sunday, October 21, 10am-2pm at 1165 Hogarth Range Rd. Call John or Frieda on 0498 001 257 or go to their Facebook page for more details.
