Parramatta teen facing rape charge in Scotland

A TEENAGER representing one of Sydney's most prestigious boys' schools on an overseas exchange program is facing a rape charge in Scotland.

The student from The Kings School at Parramatta was returned to Australia after being arrested and charged two weeks ago.

Headmaster Tim Hawkes told the Herald the school had a vibrant exchange program which involved students attending 19 leading schools around the world but that occasional "one or two let us down".

He confirmed "one boy was brought back who failed in his ambassadorial duties".
