Parkway Drive thrash the chart

BYRON Bay Metalcore band Parkway Drive has had a ripper of a year, starting with the #1 debut of their fifth record Ire, and finishing it off by going gold.

Parkway Drive are officially killing it as albums Killing With A Smile and Horizons have both been certified gold - officially.

They now join gold-back catalogue titles Atlas and Deep Blue with Ire not far behind.

2015 has been a wild ride which saw the band risk their lives by jumping out of aeroplanes and tour across the country and the world, performing to some of the wildest and biggest audiences of their career, slapping on the sold out signs left right and centre.

To go gold on the ARIA charts and album has to have shipped 35,000 copies.
