Paintball gun for a colourful gift

CHRISTMAS gifts don't get much more interesting than a gun - a paintball gun that is.

Shoppers can literally paint their Christmas red, white and green this year with one of Home Delivered Computer's hottest buys.

Store manager Adam Smith said the paintball guns were not only popular with customers, but also with staff.

Admittedly, it's probably a gift those families who join together and get a little feisty during the festivities should think long and hard about buying before throwing them in the mix.

It could turn a relatively safe toy into a dangerous contraption.

And it's not only the paintball guns that have customers queuing, Adam is tipping this Christmas to be full of techno gadgets.

The HDC Christmas list ranges from motorised cars and airplanes, portable DVDs, laptops to iPods and other electronic accessories.

For those not technologically-inclined, Kmart has brought out a cheap range of food-making appliances, some for as low as $10.

Select a chocolate fondue set for the huge expanse of chocoholics out there or a fairy-floss maker for the kid inside everyone.

They may not be the healthiest gifts, but Christmas isn't about staying fit - that's what New Year's resolutions are for.
