Pacific Highway closed after pedestrian hit

A PEDESTRIAN has been hit by a car on the Pacific Highway at Tyagarah, the Roads and Martime Services is reporting.

The service's Live Traffic NSW site is reporting a pedestrian has been hit by a car on the highway near Tyagarah Road. No information is available about the pedestrian's condition.

The website is reporting the police Crash Investigation Unit is on scene along with other emergency services.

The north-bound lane of the highway has been closed. Trucks travelling the highway are queueing as they wait for it to reopen while motorists in cars are being advised to use alternate routes.
