Pacific Highway at Broadwater blocked following car crash
UPDATE: 2:05pm: TWO people have been taken to hospital following a two car crash outside Broadwater's Commercial Hotel this morning.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said a 65-year-old woman was assisted from her car by paramedics and treated at the scene for chest injuries.
Another patient of unknown sex or age was also treated at the scene by paramedics.
The impact of the collision was described as being 60km/h by a person at the scene.
The 65-year-old woman and the other patient were taken by Ambulance to Lismore Base Hospital, both in a stable condition.
A vehicle involved in the crash was removed from the highway and traffic flows returned to normal by 12.30pm.
INITIAL REPORT: 11.45am: THE Pacific Highway at Broadwater is blocked following a two car crash about 11.30am outside the Commercial Hotel.
A NSW RFS spokesman said one lane of the highway is blocked as one of the vehicles involved in the collision remains on the road.
Wardell Rural Fire Service brigade, paramedics and police are at the scene.
Two adults and two children are being treated by paramedics.
Police will close the highway to remove the crashed car.
