P-Plater charged with drink driving, speeding

A CASINO teen on his P-plates was charged with drink-driving and speeding after being stopped in Centre Street, Casino, at 4.25am on Sunday.

The teen is accused of speeding in an attempt to escape police.

Meantime officers are investigating three thefts from people and an aggravated robbery which occurred over the weekend. A 44-year-old Lismore man was robbed in Uralba Street, Lismore, at 2.45pm on Saturday. Police are investigating the incidents.
