Owner finds house demolished after letterbox mix up

A Current Affair | Facebook

A SYDNEY demolishing company has bulldozed the wrong house.

A Current Affair reports the company turned up to 200 Marion Street, Bankstown and set to work only to learn they were flattening the wrong house when the owner came home.

While the property has 200 on the letterbox it is in fact 198.

Until that morning, the owner believed he owned 200 Marion Street but A Current Affair confirmed with the City of Canterbury-Bankstown council that his notices have 198 printed at the top.

WorkCover will be reportedly investigating the incident.
