Our readers’ told us their most important election issues
LAST week we put up a poll to ask people what they think the most important federal issues will be this election time.
Obviously not a scientific poll, it was interesting to note that health and hospitals was comfortably the most important issue to those who voted, coming in at 42%.
A long way behind at 15% was the second-placed issue of education including Gonski funding.
All other issues including climate, asylum seekers, NBN and communications and gay marriage came equal last with only 10% of the vote each.
Do you agree with these findings?
More detailed posts on Facebook suggested the NDIS, Medicare, roads, terrorism protection and border security would also be looked at in detail.
