Opinion: Good things are still coming

GOOD Things Are Coming is one of my favourite songs from American singer songwriter Nahko Bear from Nahko and Medicine for the People.

The song is about staying positive and manifesting a brighter future for you and those around you.

We decided to have a special three-page Bluesfest edition of Pulse because the final line up is complete and it's a monster list of legends, chart toppers, local favourites and great new artists to discover.

Bluesfest is a big festival, and as any other big community or artistic event, it will have a number of positive and negative effects in our area. I could go on with the complaints and the praises, but one thing is for sure: this year it has delivered one of the most incredible line ups we have seen in 26 years.

Now it's time to get behind this event and make it the best possible for our community.

We will soon have time to ponder on those areas that can be improved, by management and by the different levels of government, but how about we deliver yet another world-class experience to our many visitors?

Let's make it a good thing coming.
