Oops, she did it again: Britney Spears spends $30k on dogs

BRITNEY Spears splashed out more than $30,000 on her dogs last year.

The 'Toxic' hitmaker forked out over $13,000 on a pair of pooches in 2013, a white Maltese in January and a Yorkie in July for $5,568 and $8,212 respectively as well as paying a staggering $5,205 to get her dogs looked after when she wasn't there.

The figures come courtesy of new legal documents filed in her conservatorship, obtained by TMZ, which also reveal the 32-year-old singer spent a hefty $1,585 on clothes for her canines including $650 in one four-legged friend spending spree.

Her grand total spend of $31,234.15 on her pooches was completed by spends such as dog food.

This comes after Britney was spotted looking at new puppies in a pet shop in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles in January with her then-boyfriend David Lucado, who she split from last week.

The store owner said at the time: "Britney and David were friendly. She was in a great mood and seemed happy playing with the puppies."

Britney opened up about her split from David during her 'Piece of Me' show at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas on Sunday (31.08.14) and admitted she is looking forward to dating again.

She told the audience between songs: "The best thing about your boyfriend cheating on you is that you get to go on another first date."
