JAMES FRIZELLE’S General Motors in Lismore has just been honoured with the 2009 Regional Dealer of the Year award, positioning the business as the best for its size in NSW.

Dealerships across NSW were graded via a point system on all aspects of their business, including sales results and customer service, to determine the winner.

The Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep dealer won the award for the first time this year, after first being accredited with the internationally recognised ‘five star’ rating in 2009.

General manager Karl Meir said the award was a feather in the cap for Lismore.

“It goes to show just because we’re semi-rural doesn’t mean we can’t compete with the regions and the cities,” he said.
