Obese woman charged for 'raping man as he slept'
POLICE intend to charge an obese 26-year-old mother-of-four after allegations she raped a sleeping man.
The 31-year-old victim told police he went to bed in his West Seattle home the night before the assault and woke to find Chantae Marie Gilman - a stranger - on top of him.
He told the 110kg woman to move but she refused and continued having sex with him until he could work his way free.
Although the incident happened in mid-2013, KOMO News reports DNA testing had not been completed until earlier this year.
The victim described Gilman as a stranger, although he described her as "a drug user in the area".
Gilman has told police she did not remember the incident and has bipolar disorder.
After taking 15 months to lay charges on the woman, Gilman is now eight-months pregnant with her fifth child.
