Now it’s anger management on agenda for Mick Malthouse

AFTER two more run-ins in the past week, Carlton coach Mick Malthouse has admitted he might have to change his approach to the media in future.

Malthouse had public fallouts with Channel 7's Cameron Ling and Samantha Lane over the weekend and has come under scrutiny again for the way he deals with the press.

The veteran mentor, who admitted he found it difficult to speak publicly, said he would change his ways if the club asked him to.

"If people think that, then I've got to look at it," he said.

"If it's not good - it's not good for Carlton.

"My media conferences haven't been picture perfect, and I'm the first to say that," he said.

"But it's not by design to hurt anyone.

"It's to finish it as quick as I can and do what I probably do best - that's to have dialogue with players and coaches."
