Northern Rivers blanket drive to give homeless a warm winter

DID you know the Northern Rivers has the largest population of homeless in Australia?

Our community services class at Lismore Tafe have put together a much needed community development project to help keep someone in need warm this cold winter.

YOUR STORY: DO YOU HAVE A STORY TO SHARE?

We are asking the community to donate any new or clean used blankets, sleeping bags, gloves, hats or any warm winter clothes that are no use for you any longer.

Blankets drop of points are at the front offices of the Lismore, Baliina, Casino and Wollongbar Tafes from May 5 to June 18.

We will hand these winter items out with the help of Five Loaves Mobile Soup Kitchen.

We ask you, please, with warm hearts, give those linen cupboards a clean-out and help someone keep warm this winter.
