Nola, Cheryl finish on top

NOLA Lobban and Cheryl Booker have taken out the Lismore Lady Golfers' annual 4BBB matchplay championship.

After 32 golfers qualified, rain prevented much progress in the competition but it was eventually completed with the final played in fine weather.

Lobban and Booker defeated Sue Pringle and Brenda Holt 5/4.

It featured entertaining and challenging golf from all four with some skilful recovery shots.

This month Lismore Workers Women's Golf will support Australia's Biggest Morning Tea.

At the completion of the day's golf, players and visitors enjoy afternoon tea with all money raised going to the Cancer Council.
