No Santa but a drag queen for Christmas bash
SINGER and gender illusionist Trevor Ashley will be the headlining act this weekend Christmas version of the Cheeky Cabaret in Brunswick Head.
The Sydney drag queen, famous for possession a powerful voice and a personality to match, was confirmed yesterday for the monthly cabaret show line up.
The confirmation of Trevor Ashley as the main entertainer for the Christmas show resonates with the controversial appointment of another drag queen, Art Simone, as the main entertainment during the holidays at Chapel Street in Melbourne.
In both cases, Santa has been ditched from the Christmas celebrations for gender illusionists.
