No new leads in search for missing father and daughter
POLICE have no new leads on the disappearance of Greg Hutchings and his daughter Eeva who were last seen at Pottsville 11 days ago.
Mr Hutchings, 35, has not accessed his bank accounts or used his mobile phone since the pair were last seen on Pottsville Rd at about 12.30pm on January 11.
He was due to meet with family at a park in Pottsville to hand his four-year-old daughter back to her Sunshine Coast based mother, Michelle Dorendahl.
Police established Strike Force Beadle to investigate the disappearance with inquiries leading investigators to two areas the pair may be; Katoomba in the Blue Mountains, and Mullumbimby near Byron Bay.
Extensive searches of the Pottsville area have been conducted by police and SES on land, while officers from the Marine Area Command were assisted by lifesavers and the Queensland police helicopter to comb waterways.
Greg is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, with short brown curly hair and of a thin build.
He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, grey trousers and carrying a black back pack.
Eeva is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with long blonde hair, blue eyes and of a thin build.
She was last seen wearing an oversized blue and white-coloured shirt and multicoloured board shorts.
Police are appealing to the public to report any suspected sightings of the pair to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
