No need to be lonely when you have Laurel Club friends

PRESIDENT of the Casino Laurel Club, Robyn Spruce, was keen for any Legacy widows in the community to join the 35 members of the club.

“The club offers friendship and support,” Ms Spruce said.

The club isn’t just about entertainment.

“We support the VRA and present a cheque to them every year.” Ms Spruce said of their fundraising.

The Laurel Club meets once a month on the fourth Thursday.

Part of the club’s activities involve meeting with Laurel clubs from other regions.

On May 10, there is a Friendship Rally and Zone Conference in Grafton where 12 Laurel clubs will meet.

With clubs like the Laurel Club, no one needs to feel isolated or alone.
