No bail for teen accused of stabbing murder

A TEENAGER charged with the stabbing murder of a 16-year-old boy in outback NSW has been refused bail.

The 16-year-old is accused of knifing a boy of the same age during a street fight in the north-western town of Moree on the weekend.

The victim was rushed to hospital by a passer-by about 3pm Sunday but he died from his injuries at the Moree Hospital.

Police arrested the accused teenager about an hour later.He was refused bail in the Moree Children's Court on Monday and will front court again early next year.
