Nimbin puts on a good show for all

NIMBIN'S magic was revealed over the weekend for the town's annual agricultural show.

The weather put on its best behaviour for the Nimbin Show and provided the perfect place for the popular dog high jump, cattle shows, local produce, craft exhibitions and fundraising.

Animal Rights and Rescue volunteer Dianne Gregory has been raising money for Lismore's animal shelter at the show for 10 years, and to jazz things up this year another volunteer dressed up as a feline cat.

“The show has been a great opportunity for local groups to fundraise as many of them rely on community support to exist,” Ms Gregory said.

“You can really feel the community spirit at the show and Nimbin really knows how to attract a crowd.”

Some of the show's quirky features included gum boot throwing.
