Next step in Holland St housing estate around the corner

REGULAR Holland St commuters are not far from seeing housing go up in the new Holland Park Estate with property registrations closing at the end of July.

That means new landowners can begin to plan building soon after.

Ray White Lismore real estate agent Geoff Van said interest was high, with three properties sold already.

“They are good-sized blocks, fully serviced and it’s a handy location,” he said.

“Some people may look at it for investment but it’s primarily targeted to families seeking more space and retirees looking to downsize but still wanting a decent size block.

“The appeal from our perspective is the larger allotments to allow for people to have site access to boats, trailers, sheds and pools.

“I had buyers on-site late one afternoon and they said whilst they were in town, it didn’t feel like they were actually in town.”

Stage one of the Holland Park Estate contains 11 lots.
