New way of life a month away

LIVE, work, play may be a common catchphrase, but it will be a way of life at Emporio at Maroochydore.

The development is the first true mixed-use space on the Coast, offering a blend of apartment living, office space, restaurants and cafes.

And with stage one of the innovative development on Maroochy Blvd completed, people will start moving in from next month.

Reed Property Group project director Ross Webb said the building would set a benchmark for sustainable living on the Coast.

"Living and working at Emporio will help reduce people's carbon footprint," he said.

"The Coast is moving toward being less car-centric."

Mr Webb said the features of the residential area included a private theatre and guest lounge, fully equipped gym, rooftop leisure deck with barbecues and a stylish resort pool and spa.

"Everything is right on your doorstep," he said.

"It has a cosmopolitan feel, but it's only a short distance from the beach."

Stage one includes 55 residential units, 2238sq m of commercial office space and 1271sq m of market retail and restaurant space.
