New music: This Is M.E. by Melissa Etheridge

ACADEMY Award and two-time Grammy winner, Melissa Etheridge, is set to release her 13th studio album, This Is M.E., on March 11 through Sony Music Entertainment Australia.

This is the debut album on Etheridge's new independent label, ME Records, and as Rolling Stone said about the release, "This Is M.E. is all lust and no fuss".

Recorded in New York and Los Angeles, the album features 11 new songs all written or co-written by Etheridge along with writers such as Jon Levine (Andy Grammer), Jerrod Bettis (Birdy, Adele), Jerry Wonda and RoccStar (Chris Brown, Usher) and includes tracks produced by Mark Batson (Grace Potter, The Nocturnals).

Additionally, Etheridge collaborated with The Lumineers' cellist Neyla Pekarek on the song A Little Hard Hearted, and she also included the song Who Are You Waiting For which she wrote for her wife and performed during their wedding.

The Australian edition also includes an additional four tracks.

Etheridge will be in Byron Bay for Bluesfest in March.
