When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's Pantano

WHILE for many non-Italians the food is carnevale's highlight, for much of the Italian community Tony Pantano is numero uno.

Tony (pictured) has has won 'Best Male Vocal' a record breaking 12 times and 'Entertainer of the Year', the Gold award twice, with the MO Awards Australia.

Tony has been compared to the likes of Tom Jones, Engelbert Humperdick, Mario Lanza, Elvis Presley and Luciano Pavarotti, all rolled into one amazing entertainer.

Having worked with some of the best in the business throughout his illustrious career, in Australia, Europe and the USA, and headlining for several international cruise lines such as Cunard, Princess, Holland America and Royal Caribbean, Tony Pantano is performing exclusively for New Italy at Carnevale Italiano.

"We are thrilled to have an entertainer of the calibre of Tony Pantano performing at New Italy for Carnevale Italiano," said New Italy Museum Inc president John Barnes, a descendent of the pioneering Spinaze family.

"We celebrate our Italian heritage at these events," he said, "and people love to get up and dance. Tony is the King of Entertainment so we are expecting it to be our best celebration ever."

Tony will be singing alongside Fortunato Isgro, who was raised on the Gold Coast with a love of Italian music. Performing professionally since he was 16-years-old, Fortunato is another much loved entertainer in the Italian community.

Having sung with performers such as Kamahl, Mark Vincent, Tony Di Marti and of course Tony Pantano, Fortunato brings his own style to Carnevale Italiano.

PROGRAM:
