New horizons for award winning motorhome manufacturer

A BALLINA motorhome manufacturer has cleaned up at the NSW 2015 Caravan, Camping, Industry Association Manufacturing, Housing Industry Association Awards of Excellence winning two major awards.
Horizon Motorhomes founder Clayton Kearney said he was extremely proud to win the Best NSW Manufacturer and Best of the Best Trade Business Award.

Short-listed
The exclusive dealer for Horizon Motorhomes, Ballina Campervan and Motorhome Centre BCMC, was also short listed as one of three finalists for the best Dealer/Retailer/Wholesaler Award.
"For BCMC to be honoured as a finalist is a huge achievement and then for Horizon to win two awards today I couldn't be any prouder," Mr Kearney said.
"We are grateful to be recognised by the Association and for all the hard work and determination we have put in to our business.
"We take great pride in every aspect of the design, manufacturing, innovation, build, sales and after-sales of all Horizon Motorhomes that pass through the showroom.
"I thank my teams at Horizon and BCMC for all their hard work to get the brand to this level of national recognition"

Successful year
Mr Kearney said this year has been a successful one for Horizon Motorhomes - selling its 500th vehicle in its 20th year and with their exclusive dealer BCMC winning Best Business of the Year Award at the Ballina Coast and Hinterland Business Excellence Awards.
NSW Tourism and Trade minister Stuart Ayres said the state attracted more than 2.2 million domestic caravan and camping visitors each year, the majority of which travel here for holiday or leisure purposes.
"Tourism is a major economic driver and it is of particular importance in regional NSW where it accounts for more than one quarter of visitor holiday nights, making a significant contribution to the visitor economies in these areas," he said.
"I congratulate the award winners from across the state and the CCIA for continuing to support the industry in achieving new standards of excellence."
