NC boys through to the final

THE North Coast Under-16 representative cricket team is through to the final of the Bradman Cup carnival in Wollongong after coming back from what looked like certain defeat in their last preliminary round game.

North Coast scored 154 yesterday and in reply Central Coast was cruising at 6-146 with three overs to go.

But North Coast took the last four wickets for just four runs to remain undefeated.

The team includes six FNC boys.

Marist Brothers batsman Nick DeGuisti scored 49 not out yesterday and coach Paul Everingham said Dain Moreton, another Brothers player, had done a fantastic job as captain.

The final against Central North will be played today.
