National exposure for Coraki's hockey juniors

CORAKI continues to enhance its reputation as a town that nurtures talented hockey players with a number of juniors in state representative teams.

Bailey Powell will play for NSW in the Under-18 national championships in Melbourne from April 8 to 16, while Tom Brown, Jackson Gwynne and Ballina junior Jared Arundell are in the Blues team.

Coraki's Luca Brown will play for NSW in the Under-15 national championships in Hobart from April 11 to 19.

Tiana Clark and Taquira McGrath will play for the Blues in the Under-15 girls national championships on the Gold Coast from April 11 to 19. Ballina junior Billie King-Venn is in the NSW team.

Meanwhile, Shania McLean will travel to Japan this month with an Under-17 touring team called the Bushrangers, comprised of players from throughout NSW.

The Bushrangers will leave next Monday and return on April 25.
