Police identify surfer who died

POLICE have released the name of a surfer who died after being located unconscious in surf in Queensland on the weekend.

Glenn O’Hare, 37, was found floating face down in surf at Tugun on Sunday afternoon.

He was taken to Tweed Heads Hospital but could not be revived.

A post mortem examination will take place later this week which will hopefully indicate the cause of Mr O’Hare’s death.
